World Labyrinth Day is celebrated on the first Saturday in May every year. Described ‘as a moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience’, it’s a day to be in community and practice peacefulness.
Friends of the Merri Creek Labyrinth are hosting a group guided walk to celebrate, and I’ll be there to help. The labyrinth upgrade has also been completed so you can enjoy seeing the new landscaping. The walk is open to everyone, with no set beliefs or rituals required. You are free to move through the labyrinth in your own way – at your own pace, with your own intention. You may walk for reflection, grounding, curiosity, or relaxation. This is a family friendly event.
As well as walking the labyrinth there will be creative art activities to do.
