I thought I would share some of the projects I have been making. Yes, I have been oohing and ahhing over Pinterest but I do use it as inspiration, and find ideas to make things.

I decided to use this idea to make a horse lolly jar for a horse crazy girl for Christmas. Since then I have make a couple more to keep the big horse company.
As explained by Boys Germs they are very easy to make. You superglue a plastic toy animal to the lid, let it dry, and spraypaint the lid. I found that it took a couple to coats to give a really good coverage. Ours are in the kitchen, but as jars do, they can be used for food, sewing and craft bits, crayons, coins, twine…
