Today I started displaying some of our Easter decorations. I really enjoy bringing out familiar collections year after year, and adding new items.
My collection of eggs now has shell covered eggs from New Zealand, a handblown glass egg from Czechoslovakia, soapstone egg from Africa, recycled paper bead egg from Africa, painted wooden egg from Russia, painted paper mache eggs from Kashmir, a metal egg from India and cloisonne eggs from China. And I am always on the lookout for more. I would love to say I bought them from my travels to all those countries but they have been found in ethical trading shops, markets, and op shops.

What a wonderful idea – I get so many great ideas here
Thanks, a friend has started her collection too after I gave her a decorative egg for Easter one year.
