I have been experimenting, this time with laminating fabric.
I tried two different ways:
1. Pasted some fabric on thin cardboard and laminated.
2. Put the fabric only in the laminating pouch and laminated.
No 1. works and No.2 doesn’t! I thought I would share so you can find out from my play to see the best way to laminate fabric. This time I wanted to make a magical one so I used some sparkly starry fabric I had. The children have loved it, and have played with it using wishing stones, fairies, fairy friends (kittens, puppies, turtles, frogs, insects, unicorns…), playdough ponds, tree blocks, wands etc.
I should add that the purple mushroom pictured was a great thrift shop discovery. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised if you press the stem it makes magical sounds and flashes coloured light. A delightful discovery for me, and now for the children who play with it.
